These things BOOM! I knew I needed a whole new system for my C4 Corvette so I chose it as a building block/starting point because of the price (can you afford to start from scratch if necessary?). Now I can't wait to swap out our standard radio to see what these things will do with high quality stereo? hp My Vette is hot and loud! These speakers are not far behind.

After the first few hours of connection, you hear mainly high and medium frequencies. Never blow up new speakers! When speakers wear out properly; the bass gets better. Repeat the same music mix for 50 hours. You will know when it is safe to play music. It's great for the price! Turn up the volume just before high-pitched sounds, then turn it down just enough for good sound to increase the volume to the full limits specified by the manufacturer.

These 6X9 speakers are awesome! I have a 1000w amp which I also added to my standard system in my 2018 Ford Fusion and it has drastically changed my listening experience! And there is no distortion at high levels. I use it in sub mode (there's also full mode and a third mode near "sub mode") and mix it with my factory door speakers and it gives me the sound I'm looking for. In time I will buy a subwoofer and this will complete my car stereo! I recommend these Riot 6X9 speakers!

Will be updated if anything changes. We have a pair of speakers installed at the moment and all we hear is a loud pop every time the bass drops off a bit. This is not due to our subwoofer, but to the loudspeakers that we have just installed in the driver's and passenger's doors. They sound okay in very low decimals, but once some bass kicks in, it's terrible. I will email the seller and see if anything can be done. So far I like the sound of these speakers. I was a little frustrated that the outside edge of the speakers is too big for my Jeep Patriot. This may not be the case for all, but mine was a struggle to get them to fit in the door panel. I had to make modifications to the back of the panel to allow the speaker to go as deep as needed. Even then, I still pushed harder when trying to force the speaker to fully seat due to the speaker's larger outer edge.

First off, these speakers were bought off the shelf for less than $13. They are loud and sound good. If I come across another cheap stock deal I will buy them again. As you can see from the photos the tweeter top plate has come loose and to my surprise one of the small tweeters is not even connected. It's for show only. I bought these to replace the rear speakers in my 2002 Camry. I wanted something cheap but decent quality. Anything would be better than paper mill speakers.
