FTW epicenter as usual

What can I say. This is the epicenter. If you know what he's doing, you know what he's doing. Get the voltage right on your amp and you can improve the sound of ANY music in terms of bass. Not just Spanish music, but ALL music from rap to rock. Anyone who claims otherwise does not know the car audio and amplifier gain settings.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Not for audiophiles or most rappers.

I wanted to see if it would clean up the sound and add bass to rock songs like Linkin Park. It definitely added bass, but it didn't sound right. The only two knobs, wide and wide, don't seem to help the accuracy of the sound when adjusting. When I crank it all the way up, some notes seem a bit distorted and its crossover makes my low notes weaker, so I lowered the amp's crossover. Disappointed.

Pros
  • A little above
Cons
  • Long time

Great device. Changed my bass a lot.

Great device. Changed my bass a lot (especially on songs that don't have much bass). If you also use a smaller amp you will definitely get a bass boost with that (probably higher input voltage from that to your bass amp). Would recommend to anyone listening to old songs or songs from the 70's-80's that don't have much bass but need it. A+++ for AudioControl and Revain for great products.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Sad technology

Four stars QC could be improved.

This product took 4 runs as it arrived on time and works great. This is the loss of a star because the epicenter came in with unbalanced outputs. If I had no experience with these types of products or hadn't read the manual I would pretty much go back to the supplier as many people have said. Judging by the manual audio controls, it should have balanced inputs and outputs, but in my case it didn't. Be careful and always read the enclosed instructions. Or order a professional installation…

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Damaged

My problem with low RCA signal has been fixed!

I have a newer car with a factory system that really integrates all the functions of my car. Replacing her was not an option. I connected the rear speaker wires to connect the line out converter. I had several problems with this. 1. The signal strength was very weak. I had to set the gain to maximum and also apply bass boost. or a processor that limited the bass to the low 30s (Hertz), my previous settings dropped 20s from 3, the bass started rolling when I turned the volume up and at times it…

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Very situational. best in amps

This thing is situational at best. If you mostly listen to older music (e.g. mid 90's and earlier) this may help. But even then I didn't like the way he went about inserting the bass into the music. If you're playing something like AC DC with heavy bass guitars, all you have to do is add the "BLUHHHHHB BLUHHHB" semitone. Maybe someone likes it, but I don't. If it were something with a steady but insufficient "hit" it would really contribute to a healthy low range. I bought it to add a subwoofer

Pros

Cons
  • weak

Audiophiles here, my expectations were exceeded.

This device delivers what it promises. Of course you can also overdo it. You don't have to turn the knob all the way to feel your money's worth. You can leave it low. I never turn the knob past 50%. This unit does a FANTASTIC job of restoring bass to tracks that don't have it. I was extremely skeptical. I figured they couldn't just add real-time bass and it would sound good. I figured there were timing issues or some sort of detectable disgusting artificial sound quality it produced. I was…
