The wire worked but I ruled out the AWG 12ga wire which is much smaller than the AWG 12ga wire. I compared with a real 12ga cable. It looks more like 14ga AWG wire. To be fair it doesn't say it's AWG 12ga. Seems to be key if you need a true 12ga cable.

I'd say it's a great cable for the price, I'd say it's a light 12 ga or a heavy 14 so maybe a 13 or even a 12.5 . Much better than my old 16ga. I can't say I know if it's copper or not, although the wire is good. I don't usually measure it, but some have said it's short. I took rustic measurements and came up with 120 feet. So I'm pretty sure it's at least 100ft, and I may have ordered more. Would buy again.

The ONLY thing I can say about it is the packaging. Doesn't work on a roll. It is simply rolled up in the package and you can unroll it to get the wire out. I went from the middle which worked fine. Now that I'm done with the only complaint I still give it 5 stars. I like the black and red color scheme best. I don't have to look for little clues to figure out which side is which. In my photo on the left Audiopipe and on the right GS Power. Disassembled, they are about the same size. Stripping with the same tool, you can see a significant difference in the number of wires. Audio tube insulation is really thick, and if that's important (rather than how much current it can handle) then this wire is for you.
