High quality product

The plastic model has been replaced by this one. Works great and feels much more durable and resistant to low coolant temperatures.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Older model

Stay away from this sensor.

Stay away from this pressure gauge. Completely inaccurate. Pay a little more and get something decent. It read 30 psi when in fact the system was overridden to 60+ psi.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fur is fine, but pay a little more for a better and longer hose.

Not a big fan of that short (valve) inflation hose which is quite difficult to turn. Maybe I am, but it just seems cheap and I don't trust the sensor, especially when my other reliable sensor reads a lot more than this one. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Having troubles

Works great for air conditioning tools and equipment

Works great. I've used this style before and love it. When the system is charged, the air comes out warm. If it is full and you still have refrigerant, leave it there and screw the valve back on before disconnecting the hose.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Minor issues

Worked fine but the hose is a little short

This hose worked well, made a good seal and reportedly measured the pressure accurately (the green area was when my AC started blowing cold air again to blow). I agree with other reviewers that the hose is too short and stiff, but not to the point of causing any serious problems.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Cheap and useless best tools and gear

I've charged a lot of AC systems and thought this would be a cheap low side charge hose option but I was wrong. The can tap valve is not properly screwed onto the R134a and the seal can break as a result. The faucet slipped off the can and cost me a can of R134a. The quick release is rubbish too and doesn't clamp/close properly. All in all a waste of money, just buy a header kit and you're done.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Hard to say

Much better than the plastic stuff found in auto parts stores

This item is only 60% of the price sold at local auto parts stores and uses brass connectors instead of plastic. The plastic connector to the valve on the low side gets slippery, but the brass connector is easy to grip and sure to push and pull. Charged 3 vehicles in the last 3 days. Very satisfied with the price, the material and the ease of use. As for the wishlists, maybe if the length is about 6cm longer and if possible make the sensor rotatable. But if it had cost a few bucks more I might…

Pros
  • Big Price
Cons
  • Little Stuff

Didn't release freon

I bought this because my other faucet doesn't have a pressure gauge. I was thrilled when I plugged it in and got a pressure reading, but when I tried to dose the freon it didn't work. I'm afraid if I disconnect the attached spray can the freon will just splatter everywhere. Now I have to use my old faucet dispenser to add the freon and use that with the pressure gauge still attached and the full freon canister just to measure the pressure. Unfortunately I have a can of freon that I can't use…

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some trouble
