They are so thin you can literally read a newspaper in them. I will NEVER dress a child in something so insanely thin and translucent for the whole world to see. To be honest, they shouldn't even be sold to children.

Very light, so light you can see through. Or a big deal for us since I bought it under the dress. But be careful. After washing they were quite snuggly on my slimy little 6 year old, again everything is fine but I was hoping the 7th would last a while longer as she grows.

My daughter loves these. They are thin as other people have pointed out. They are also very soft. At first I wore them under skirts/dresses. They are perfect for that. My daughter has also worn them on her own sometimes and they are fine.

I bought 6 packs in black, blue and gray for my daughter's size 5-7. She is 5 years old and about 41 pounds and they fit great. I don't know if they last more than a year. They are very thin but since I have darker colors I don't see them showing through. Perfect for lounging at home or worn under skirts or dresses. I would recommend.

As many reviewers said, these shorts are very thin. trust them lol I must at least say that they are very soft. So it all depends on what you are looking for. My granddaughter needed something to wear under her dress. She is size 7 or 8, not a slim girl but not fat either, she is solid. I ordered a size 8-10 and the shorts looked VERY small when I took them out of my pocket but they had a lot of stretch but as they stretched the material thinned. They appeared to be a silky material, similar to
