I've had them all. This is the best paper shredder ever. Very quiet and very powerful. It replaced the Fellows 150C which was quite expensive when I bought it 3 years ago. Companions were made cheaply. The 150-page flap's automatic feeder broke and the wastebasket didn't close properly because it was cheap plastic. It also had no roles for a heavy (27 lb) machine. Surprisingly quiet. 2) Shredded pieces of paper are much smaller than most competitors, which means more safety and less waste in the bin. 3) The instructions are logical, they say "no shredding plastic", not even cleaning window paper envelopes.
