Good for the money - tires and wheels

Worked correctly. It's easy to use and does what it's supposed to. I used it to see which sensor failed and activated the spare sensor for the car to recognize. Also activated are the new VDO Redi sensors, which are semi-universal replacement sensors on a new wheel and tire set. It quickly reads sensor data (ID, battery status, PSI). It activates the new sensors and should also test the key fob and key transmitters, although I didn't test this. It is not intended for programming replacement…

Great tool to relearn ALL sensor types. Activates only their branded sensors.

I bought this tool after adding a 37er to my truck and had to relearn all the new gauges that came with the wheels and tires. The tool did an excellent job of detecting the sensors (in my case they are ITM brand sensors). I had an issue with one of the new sensors not picking up (it turns out the store I bought the wheels and tires from didn't activate). this sensor). Works fine after update.

I've only used this for a couple of days on two private cars. I received software version 3.13 that contained incorrect relearn information for my 2011 Colorado. I had to contact support. for instructions on how to get the latest V3.20 update which changed the menu and contained the correct learning information. I had to go to their website and find the TS401 (which got 2 matches) and follow one of the links to a page that had a downloads tab with a list of what I needed. It was called V3.20…

Failed after about 20 uses, warranty includes shipping to China

The unit worked great until it broke. I bought this device in November 2019. When I was scanning the original sensors on a 2013 Chevy Silverado to determine which sensor was faulty, the unit suddenly turned off and I couldn't turn it back on. The scanner battery was fully charged. The same thing happened to an Autel TS601 (purchased in 2014) that I owned while scanning OEM sensors on another GM vehicle, but I thought it was an accident and the TS601 was out of warranty. Perfect tool for changing a set of wheels and tires

I recently bought a new set of tires and rims from an online store, fitted with a TPMS sensor and balanced. So I knew I had to activate the new sensors and stored them in the car's ECM. First I bought a TS401, but it was only later, after some research, that I realized that this particular device does not allow me to store the IDs of these new sensors in the car's ECM. This is an update. Please read the original review below. Upgrade to 3 stars. I would like to thank nhbill for commenting on my review and giving me advice on how to solve my problem.
