Working but not perfect

Used on GM 3100 (3.1L) V6 mid 90's. The OEM sensor was not working reliably and I bought this to replace the original sensor. Two things that don't have the same function as the OEM part: 1. The lamp test doesn't work properly when the key is turned to start.2. The "Low Coolant" light is about 2/3 the brightness of the OEM sensor. But on the plus side, this sensor costs almost 1/10th the price of a new GM/ACDelco part after sale. So for me it's a good compromise at the moment.

Fits 94 Pontiac Trans Am

I really couldn't be happier when my husband came across this sensor. Our coolant light has been on for almost 4 years (we very rarely drive this car) but I've always feared I had a real problem. It took my husband about 15 minutes to install and has worked flawlessly for the past 3 weeks. Compared to the hundreds of dollars worth of offers we've received, this sensor is totally worth it even if it only lasts a few years. If you think this will work for your car I would recommend taking the…

Fixed issue with sensors

Has taken care of the low coolant indicator which has been on for a year straight. The amber glow was annoying, but it wasn't enough to pay $50 for a new sensor that turned off the light. I found this on Revain for about $9 and thought it was a fair price. I regularly check the fluid level by hand and don't rely solely on gauges, so the presence of LEL didn't bother me. When to replace the coolant sensor: When the indicator light comes on and the coolant level is normal. If the sensor is faulty
