Excellent Pattern: Tea Accessories

This is a well-made, very beautiful bowl for the Japanese tea ceremony. The blue pattern above is very cool. My wife knows a lot more about Cha No Yu so watch the video for analysis.

Pros
  • Regular Price
Cons
  • Periodicity

Japanese handmade ceramics

Superb Japanese handmade bowl. Ceramic looks very high quality. That's more than I expected. This isn't the usual shell you'll find at Target or Ikea. I will buy a few more colors for my kitchen. If, like me, you are interested in Japanese ceramics, you will not regret your purchase.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This is a tea bowl but I expected more

Yes this is a bowl of the size that could be used for matcha tea at a tea ceremony but it doesn't meet my expectations. Here's what I see in that bowl: 1) Is it real? Hmm, it was probably made in Japan, but there's no proof of that. The shell was thrown by hand, evidenced by small protrusions during the throwing process. However, there is no pottery brand. Therefore, authenticity is not guaranteed. 2) Is this the quality used in the tea ceremony? This bowl is clearly not of the quality I…
