Traditional incandescent lighting illuminates around the perimeter of the dial. 12 and 16 volt compatible, well-suited with nearly every street car or race car electrical system. Gauge kit includes bulb and socket assembly, red and green bulb covers, mounting hardware, and detailed instructions for installation. Auto Meter’s race proven air-core electric tachometers provide quick and accurate readings with a needle so responsive it can go from 0 - full scale in 333 milliseconds. Compatible with 2 - 4 pulse ignition signals (4-8 cylinder engines) with points, electronic, and most 12V high-performance racing ignitions.

Well built! in Electrical

Beautiful design and finish, durable metal and chrome finish. Perfect size, easy to see. See attached photo for face diameter.

Ideal for those mid 60's muscles

Loved it. The '66 Mustang convertible needed a touch. The stock one looked like an afterthought that was bolted to the steering column. It looks like it should have been in the car. Slim and classic. Ideal.

it almost looks like a factory fitted auxiliary tach

Looks retro from the 60's, we installed it on the dash of our 1964 Falcon hard top, it almost looks like a factory fitted auxiliary tach. Auto Meter makes the best sensors, I have some that are over 30 years old and still work great.
