Need options for more sensors

I use two of these because I have eight Autometer sensors and they support a maximum of 6. It would be nice if Autometer sold some options (e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.)

Pros
  • Best in class

Lats for about a year. suitable for lighting and electrics

Lasted about a year, now it goes off if you barely touch the handle. Ordered a new one to see if it lasts. I'm pretty sure these aren't connections because they are soldered on and also only separate when the handle is touched. Any movement Claire does nothing.

Pros
  • high-quality assembly
Cons
  • I say nothing

Works great, easy installation.

I installed one of their 7077 sensor kits and due to the close proximity the LEDs were much brighter and more distracting. I installed this dimmer and set it to mimic the brightness of my dashboard lights. Now when I adjust the dimmer on the headlight switch, they all stay the same.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Secret

Autometer LED dark

My Autometer display was too bright at night. It was bought to be able to adjust the brightness level. It does that very well, with pretty good sensitivity. I didn't give 5 stars because the module is awkward to assemble and looks like an add-on when installed. I installed it next to the light switch. And there is no button on the adjustment shaft.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • I don't remember

Cluster LED Dimming Solution

Installed in a 1996 Toyota T100 Pickup. Completed SR5 dashboard update with blue LED. They shone but didn't fade with the standard dimmer. Tried potentiometers, resistors and nothing worked. Installed a dimmer for the autometer's LED lighting between the dimmer switch and the dashboard and the light dimmed perfectly. Set the auto dimmer immediately after the LED begins to turn off and control will be restored with the default dimmer.

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons
  • Older Model

If you're going to switch to LED, you may need this!

Just what I needed after installing the LED lamp in the Phantom series. I didn't like the yellowish color of the included bulb, especially with the Phantom's white face. I bought a similar white LED but it was bright! I bought this dimmer and installed it (no setup tricks, really easy). It's a little annoying in low light conditions with LED, but once it's in place you're done. The installation was well worth my time and money and the bright white dial looks great in my beefed up JK at night!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

So here is an overview of the special equipment. If you're remodeling an old car's dashboard, this is probably what you're looking for. LEDs dim very differently than conventional light bulbs. LEDs use very little power and operate at the same brightness over a wide voltage range, so you can't get your old dimmer to work. The method of dimming LEDs is to use a PWM (pulse wave modulation) dimmer. Many of these types of dimmers are available from Revain at a very low cost but do not use a 3 wire…

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Damaged
