I wanted to give them 5 stars but I couldn't. And therefore. I looked at how to install them on several YouTube videos. Very easy if you pay close attention to how each light cap is removed and especially from the appropriate side of each. Everything was great except for the glove box. Lots of photos and instructional videos for installing LEDs in rearview mirrors, map lights, doors, trunk and license plate area. Even puddles glow. My only criticism of these headlights is the lack of a good manual which should 'nail' all the details on the polarity of the bulb and how easy it is to plug them in to install. I had a BIG headache covering the map and had to read a lot on YouTube under the comments. Everyone they show just takes off the plastic dome and puts it in their 4Runner. Stop - it's not easy and there's no real documentation. However, stay tuned and install them (I skipped the glove box as it sounds like a nightmare).

This is a big upgrade for the 4Runner to stop it looking so dated with those horrible halogen bulbs! They provide a clear white light. I've switched to super bright Autogine LEDs for both interior and exterior lighting (license plate and puddle lights) and the results and features deserve an upgrade. Like you and everyone who bought this, I really hated the standard interior lights in my 4Runner. These headlights improve the look of the cabin.
