Not Worth the Investment

As a hesitant buyer, I purchased this automotive trunk replacement part and was sorely disappointed. As a result of using this product, I found that it was difficult to install and didn't function properly, causing more issues than it fixed... The only positive is that it looked sleek once installed. Overall, I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this replacement part..

Terrible Trunk Design for Cars

The AutoLoc Power Accessories 9702 Trunk is a terrible design for automotive enthusiasts. The trunk fails to provide secure locking, making it extremely unsafe during car rides .The only positive aspect of this trunk is its AFFORDABLE price but safety should never be compromised for cost. Don`t waste your money on this poorly designed trunk..

which works much better.

This was too underpowered for my Porsche 914's luggage rack. I replaced it with a 40lb SPAL solenoid which works much better.
