Excellent tool for automatically filling containers with water. (Dog water bowls, ponds, fountains, etc.) Just remember to protect them from the sun.

If you are looking for a compact level controller for your pond, look no further. ) Algae do not seem to bother and so far without failures.

Maintains water level in my pond excellently, algae does not affect performance. I had to add a 6" hose adapter to have more flexibility on where the valve is located. But it could just be my pump.

I ordered 2 of these check valves for a 5 gallon DWC bucket. One of them has a very slow trickle after reaching the fill line. The whole thing is epoxy coated together so not only can't I return the faulty one, I have to buy a new one and I need a new bucket and all the couplers I used to keep it working 50/50.

I don't know why I'm being asked to rate this product on 'warmth' and 'thickness' which are unrelated to the product. The only downside is that you have to figure out how to install it for your purpose. Bracket not included or offered. Otherwise it worked great for my project (maintaining a constant water level in a small 200 gallon pond).
