i was surprised how bright they are. Now I can mow until sunset and beyond. they draw about half the amps of standard bulbs, relieving the load on the charging system. Now it charges the starter battery a little faster, which is good.

I'm only giving these LED lights 4 stars because they didn't work properly in my wife's 2011 Mercedes C300. The headlights work as advertised, however the Automotive Signal Acquisition Module (SAM) looks for a certain amount of current at the output of conventional bulbs. Since LED bulbs use less power, the SAM sends error codes to the ECU reporting a lighting problem. Unfortunately I had to send them back for a refund.

I ordered these LED bulbs because I only have one reversing light in my car. A halogen bulb wasn't enough to illuminate what was behind me, so I decided to replace it with an LED bulb. The single LED bulb is a significant improvement over the single halogen bulb. I'm sure other cars with two bulbs would be even better, but since my car only has one I just keep the other bulb as a backup. I can definitely recommend these lamps.

I tried them out as many said and as many said they were a bright beautiful light I used them on my mower so they weren't used much. I got replacement for the first set which only lasted about 8 hours. The second set was shorter and behaved the same, the first started to flicker, and then the second soon went out. This 1156 bulb is very similar to the original bulb, just one label longer. The problem is, if you have a newer car with a cam tire line that controls every aspect of the car, you'll get an error message on the dash saying your headlights aren't working. This doesn't work for me, I can drive a car that gets an exclamation mark and beeps every time I turn it on to indicate that some of the lights aren't working properly.
