I love the smell of rosemary! Avalon products have always been good products. The packaging is not very good. Luckily I received my bottle in a plastic bag but 1/4 of the bottle went into the bag so I lost that amount of product. It wasn't worth the hassle of returning it for a replacement so I just left it after rinsing the soap off the bottle. But the soap itself is gorgeous!

The scent is the perfect representation of real rosemary, unlike some "natural" scented things that don't smell like real rosemary. I love this hand soap and love the smell. Washing with it creates a wonderful lather. What I don't like about this product is that the bottles keep coming and going. There is no seal under the lid and soap always leaks inside the box. There is also a noticeable difference each month when I order this in a bottle-equivalent quantity versus a bottle that's being phased out. I always buy two bottles. Why can't Revain pack properly? Half of the bottles I ordered have expired. In the package I received this morning, one bottle was in a sealed plastic bag and the other was not. Of course the unpackaged soap leaked, but fortunately not too much. This is my second favorite soap, but my favorite, Earth Friendly Products, is no longer sold here. Personally, I have often observed the smell of it. I think smells are very, very subjective, but I bought another brand with a very bad smell that claimed to be lavender and didn't even remotely resemble it. It definitely smells like rosemary. I also didn't find it to linger and it's not harsh soap which is what I wanted and that it's eco-friendly. When I bought it, the price was also very reasonable. There are no leaks either. I would try their other lemon flavor again as I liked this one.
