Cracked & Broken Containers

I received this product earlier this month and the box looked fine but yesterday when I opened it and unpacked the packed up containers the top tin broke and the bottom tin smashed against the floor. I was a bit disappointed as I work a lot and when I have time I love crafts. If they hadn't been packaged like that, they might have seen it tear and break.

Pros
  • NO CRACKS, NO SHRINKAGE PROBLEMS - Unlike polymer clay and other competitors that are prone to cracks, Aves products are designed for professionals who just can't take it.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Ideal for repairing and modeling parts/additions.

Featured on social media by the doll manufacturer. I work on art projects that sometimes require extra work or additions and this product does the job perfectly. It doesn't set instantly like other bondos which tend to set quickly and this allows you to sculpt and play with it while working on our project. Will definitely be using this for several future projects!

Pros
  • STRONG FREEZE-THAW, WATER RESISTANT - Unlike air-dry polymer clay that cracks and discolors on the outside, Aves Apoxie White Clay smiles in the face of the sun or whatever nature throws at it; Spray coatable with UV protection for painted parts
Cons
  • Not sure

Takes practice but works well

I took this to experiment with clay again after a 20 year hiatus from sculpting. I was able to get pretty good detail and it cured well. There seems to be a period when it reaches its best working rigidity. the first hour of work it is very sticky and sticky and a bit difficult to work with. It's in a good spot for the next hour as it's not very tacky and allows for pretty good detail. I found I had about 30 minutes afterwards to work on very fine details with wooden sculpting tools. I also use

Professional Clay

I tried Apoxie Sculpt and I liked it. I wanted to see this apoxie tone and it really shines! It's soft, both parts are soft and blend better than Apoxy Sculpt. Not to mention it dries faster than Apoxie Sculpt. The quality makes it easy to shape and detail before it dries. It comes out stronger and comes in a cool container so you don't have to worry about it drying out quickly. You'll still need gloves to keep the residue off your hands, but it's worth it and it comes in a variety of colors!

Pros
  • NO OVEN OR OVEN BAKING NEEDED - Our modeling clay will CONSTANTLY bind to everything; Working time 1-3 hours. It doesn't need baking and sets in 24 hours
Cons
