Did the job in Sport

This is exactly what I needed to convert the 160mm rotors to 180mm rotors on my Kona fat bike. New screws were also included.

Allowed me to switch from 140mm to 160mm rotors!

Exactly what I needed. Stupidly I didn't even consider buying this as I went with 20mm larger rotors than originally expected. Installed this mount and it works like a champ!

Great Disc Upgrade Accessory

I bought this IS mount to upgrade my front brake disc from 160mm to 180mm on an Avid Juicy 7 brake system. The mount fits perfectly! One thing I noticed was that I had to use the mounting screws that came with the mount as the threads on the old mount seemed tight. no problem. If you are upgrading your Juicy/BB7 brake to a larger bagger disc this is a must.

Ideal for swapping out 160mm front rotors for 180mm rotors

The tricky part of swapping disc brake rotors on a bike is figuring out which adapter to use. Descriptions for each adapter sold online are rather sparse. In fact, the exchange is quite simple. This adapter allowed me to adjust the position of my Avid BB7 caliper to change the rotor from 160mm to 180mm at the front of my bike. I had IS mounts on my bike's front fork and removed the existing adapter and installed the new one. I have a torque wrench so the bolts can be tightened to specification.

  • Sports and Outdoors
Cons
  • Functionality
