I have had the Bugflector II on my truck for a few seeks now and it works great. It was relatively easy to install. I was worried when I first sized it up as it looked like it would not fit right. but once the ends were on the rest fell into place. I was tempted to put the bump stops on the bugflector instead of the hood but then thought better. Fit my 2014 Silverado well. I followed the instructions and it has held up for several weeks so far. I commute about 90 miles per day (round-trip) so we will see in time how long it lasts. Prior to using this product I was using some 3M Scotchgard Clear Bra Paint Protection Film to protect the front of my hood from dents and dings. So this piece of crap product doesn't come with screws to bolt into your hood, you're basically relying on double-sided tape and 2 clips. I strongly do not recommend you using this model for your vehicle my hood is completely scraped up. I was literally going 30 mph down the road after having this for a week and it flew off smacked my hood scraped the paint. I followed all their instructions I know 100% I did nothing wrong.

Nice product! I did not realize that it adhered directly to the front of the hood because previous hood protectors I've used connected underneath the front of the hood. You do have to be careful you get it properly centered because once you start, you can't really pull it back off. Looks very sharp!

The bug-reflecter was easy to install and looks good. All necessary parts where supplied. I would recommend getting a car wash before installing to obtain better adhesion. Alcohol wipes supplied aren’t nearly enough

I've purchased AVS products before. But I had to send this one back. The machining/molding was not cast correctly and it slipped past quality control apparently. There was an extra large piece of plastic on the deflector that made it impossible to mount on my Chevrolet. Yes I could have trimmed it down, but why should I need to? It would have been ugly and left sharp edges that could have damaged my paint. If AVS is able to send me a replacement deflector at no cost, I will happily re-write a…

Took more time to prep the hood than it did to install so this is a good product. I'd recommend a second person to help just to make sure everything is lined up but once its on, it is on and there have been no problems in 6 months and through all types of weather to include snow and ice buildup on the truck while driving through the mountains.
