Not durable at all, I've tried cement floors, tile, etc.

Not strong at all I've tried cement floors and tiles but they didn't hold in place. They told me to take a board and screw it to my ceiling, which defeats the purpose of having a moveable stack if I have to screw it. My 120lb niece tried it out for me and it moved, didn't fall off, but that's enough to know that it's mostly just good for photos.

Cons
  • Not the best

Not bad. That will do.

This is good value for money but be aware that if you are going to do tricks with the bar you will need to ensure it is securely bolted to the ceiling. It's still not the best and most durable, but it's a good start until you can afford the upgrade. Also, I recommend going plain instead of pink or purple. Colored haptics differ from plain metal. (I have one of each.) Metal is better for grip than purple trim.

Terrible! Don't buy good tap dance gear

I hate to give this piece of shit even one star! It doesn't work at all. I spent 2 hours installing it without drilling so it's definitely not a portable and fast build. Even after the builder came to me and installed it in the ceiling, the base doesn't hold up under the pressure and keeps sliding and sliding everywhere. The joints are loose and the top doesn't fully snap into place. I don't feel safe and it's not fun or safe to dance on. It's not worth it! Don't buy this.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for, I learned the hard way. Not very durable only when screwed to the ceiling. You can only put your full weight on it if it's permanently attached to the ceiling and I'm only 115 pounds. Breaks in the bar hurt when you slide down. It's wider than in the club. I recently moved and can't put it in the new place because it doesn't slide out far enough. The more you stretch it, the more wobbly, unsafe, and stronger it becomes.

Probably won't be stable

So my ceiling is 9 feet so this pole should have been spot on. However, the part on the bottom that you have to turn (they provide a metal wrench) is plastic and the wrench is metal. So if you want to tighten it all the way to the ceiling, you'll probably remove the plastic. the part you need to use to tighten it. That happened to me. I got it very tight and perfectly straight, but after trying a VERY soft spin (I know this suggests this bar is for non-spin moves only - who the heck doesn't…
