Doesn't fit correctly

After installing this kit my pool vac has too much suction, and no longer walks around the pool. It seems to move fine as it floats down, but as soon as all feet make contact with the ground the unit all but stops moving. I've removed one wing, and it seems to work better, but this is not satisfactory. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Your Vac's Wheels and Tires

The two arms, one on each side of your pool vac, form your vac's motive power. Repairing your Hayward pool vac is surprisingly easy. You only need two screwdrivers, slotted and Phillips. The hardest bit about these arms is installing the shoes, two on each arm. That just takes some pressure to force the shoe tabs into the proper holes on the arms.

Not sure but didn’t last long.

I’m not sure if it’s because they were not original but they worked a couple weeks then I had to replace them again. I bought the original parts and they have been working fine since.

Not machined correctly.

I experienced a similar situation as another reviewer in that the holes that hold the rubber feet are a fraction to small requiring a trimming of the mounting nubs in order to install the feet. A frustrating time waster.

Spring was the wrong size

I needed to use my old spring. Not happy with this product and the shoes from another purchase did not fit. That's my review!

Great replacement kit.

The pods were a perfect fit. The plugs to keep the wigs in place were too small, I had to use my original ones. Poor plastic material. I just installed about 2 months .let''s see how long it work.

Holes for shoes are toooo small, broke foot

These pods are not made correctly for shoes. The holes that the shoes are inserted are too small. Ended up braking little tab that holds in spring. DO NOT BUY

Perfect fit on my Hayward Blu

Good price, quick shipping. The pods fit my Hayward Blu pool vac perfectly and so were easy to install. Can’t speak to durability yet but they seemas sturdy as the originals.
