Compatible with select 2004-2007 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles without premium sound. Provides 12V accessory power output. If vehicle is equipped with retained accessory power features, the XSVI will keep those features. Will not retain door chime in most vehicles.

Required for 2005 Dodge Durango with USB port

I needed this component/harness to install my new Sony car stereo in my 2005 car. Dodge Durango. The Sony stereo I received had a USB input for the iPod. Apparently my car didn't provide extra power to the standard wires. I bought this product. It was easy enough to use. It came with a wire guide. There was no need to purchase additional straps. I installed it by plugging my iPod into a USB port and it worked great. So this product does exactly what it promises. No problem.
