AYY 2K Portable Monitor: High-Resolution 2560X1600 Display with 120Hz Refresh Rate Review

This device will NOT remember screen settings (brightness, contrast, color, etc.) unless powered by the included USB adapter. My Dell XPS13 has no problem powering the monitor through the USB-C port, even when running on battery power and without using the optional USB monitor adapter. But whenever the XPS13 monitor turns off due to inactivity, which also turns off the attached monitor when the laptop wakes up again, the monitor's brightness is always set to 30 by default (which is pretty dim).

I originally bought it for console gaming as there aren't many of those out yet. I expect a software update from a company representative in the future that will make this possible. I look forward to it. The display is solid and gets bright with HDR, but colors do fade a bit. Be sure to use the included power cords to get the most out of this screen. I bought it on sale for $179 which is a better price than the Acer models.

I travel a lot for work and do a lot of remote recruiting/training. The two screens are incredibly useful when performing more detailed tasks. The picture quality is good, very bright. I like a monitor with good color reproduction and good brightness. However, the case doesn't really hold the monitor in the position it's constantly slipping and sliding, making it difficult to hold onto anything. Just arrived today, resolution and Hz as described (actually I overdrive it to 130Hz, OD option in OSD). Be sure to use the included power adapter as it really needs 5V 3A. If the monitor shows the wrong frequency, make sure you're using the included HDMI and the correct HDMI connector (doesn't work quite right when I connect it via a USB port expander, which actually only supports 60/75 Hz arrive). ). I was glad I bought this monitor, but after just four months it suddenly stopped working. I plug it in now and it immediately goes back into 'sleep mode' without being able to wake the screen to check the settings and it's not recognized by my or my spouse's computer - so it's utterly useless . Save money and go with a more reputable company with a real website and customer support. It's garbage.

I think the sharpness and image quality could be better, but for the price you can't beat it! Allows me to have a second monitor when I'm commuting to work. Super glad I bought this. It's really easy to set up. Just plug in and go!

My only regret is that I didn't purchase this product two years ago when I started working from home. After trying and failing different types of small home office solutions, this is finally a product that makes sense to me. This second monitor worked very well with my MacBook Pro. I connected it via a USB-C to USB-C cable and it worked right away. No fuss, no connection problems. Great second monitor for the price.

The image is darker than on a desktop monitor at maximum brightness. The ends of the cable came loose after 3 uses. I had to buy replacement cables. Doesn't stand up very well. 1 tiny shake and the screen falls off. (At both tilt settings) Cables are very short. It would be more functional if they were longer.

Good and big. The colors seem good too. Case/stand included. Not the most durable. Can be used without its own power cord. Your computer will work just as well as it did when it was connected. I will test it on the street

I bought this monitor to work with two screens when traveling. I've looked at other brands that are twice the price so I was a little wary of buying this one. I'm so glad I jumped at the chance to buy this one! Not only was it a fair price, it was easy to use and comes with all the necessary cables. I have 2 laptops that require different cables (one USB-C and the other HDMI) and I was surprised to see that both are included. This includes the cover.

This screen was all I needed for a display extension (Surface Pro 6). The only thing that really annoyed me was his attitude. It balances on the edge of the black case it comes with and I've kept tipping it over with the slightest movement or adjustment. I added these binding clips and now it stays in place.

Bought it specifically for a business trip. It fits easily in my laptop bag and doesn't add much weight. Very easy to connect. I love it. This will make traveling and working remotely much easier.
