I make kombucha and need to wash long neck bottles, this is a great product. I was suspicious that it wasn't long enough, but fear not, it's long enough for a bottle of wine too. The bristles are soft and you can actually bend the top slightly to brush the bottom around the edges! Finally a brush that can clean the bottoms of my bottles. Excellent goods!

Warning, this product purchased in November 2019 appears to have changed from the original description, it will NOT fit in a slim 16oz kombucha bottle. Underneath the bristles at the tip of the brush is a white plastic base that prevents the brush from getting down the neck of a bottle. The company was quick to reply that the 16oz bottle didn't fit and sent it back, what a problem, why not just provide an accurate description first! So annoyed.

While this bottle brush is the best I've tried (which is kudos considering how hard it is to hit the tight bottleneck), I'd still like some more material see the spike hitting the lower corners where all sediment normally collects. I will probably modify this device with some kind of detergent, it would be nice to make the kombucha bottles cleaner without having to overwater them or coat them with detergents.

I had to read the description again. I was under the impression that the brushes were actually made in the USA, but upon re-reading it turned out that they were designed in Seattle. The label clearly states that they are made in China. The ad is somewhat misleading. I wasn't planning on spending $9 on a bottle brush made in China. If I had been more careful I would have ordered one off eBay, made in China but only for $2. I can't say much about the actual quality of the brush at this point…

This is a pretty good reusable wine bottle cleaning brush. The only thing I didn't like was that there were very few bristles sticking out at the bottom of the vials. Lots of big bristles around the motel core but not so many on the ends that match the metal core. This would make cleaning the bottom of the bottles (or whatever) much more efficient. I only bought this because it is a long brush. I also bought a slightly shorter one from another manufacturer, but it's difficult to use because it's missing an inch or two from the handle that this one has. I waved it off there and thought it was great. And then the pen just popped out, almost leaving the brush stuck in the bottle. I had to use pliers to get the brush piece out. If they could find a better way to attach the twisted wire brush frame to the plastic handle, I would give it five…

I brew my kombucha and bought it for these bottles, but I also work as an environmentalist and do a lot of trash to art projects. The day it arrived we had just picked up a few baskets full of old bottles from the hills and were watering them. This brush was great at cleaning up dirt, grime and who knows what else those bottles were full of. I used a bottle brush on long neck kombucha bottles that have fruit residue stuck to the bottom wide neck. I gave the bottles a quick soak in warm, soapy water, then bobbed the brush up and down, twisting it slightly. I had to do this for at least a full minute on each bottle before they were completely clean. I think the bristles should be a little stiffer so I'm only giving it 4 stars.
