Choking Hazard - Firm Feeding

While I like the idea of the practice spoon, it was a lot smaller than expected. My child put a pen in his mouth and could easily choke on a spoon as it is quite narrow and the arm is quite short. Luckily I was in control but I don't think it's worth the risk. After this incident, I immediately threw both spoons in the trash.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Almost OK

My grandson loves these teething spoons!

My grandson LOVES these spoons! He is teething and loves to chew on the spoon while I feed him. You were a life saver! My daughter has a variety of spoons and she confirmed that he doesn't like the spoons in her house as much as these spoons. I will be ordering them again for my goddaughter's baby who will be here in January! I highly recommend them!

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Hard to say

Suitable for self catering and aching gums

My granddaughter is approaching the age where she can support herself. We let them hold one of these spoons while we feed them. She loves the soft texture and loves to chew on both ends of the spoon. She's teething and I'm sure it feels good on her gums. They're the perfect size for her to feed herself when she's a bit older and able.

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • For the elderly

We love it! - Solid Nutrition

We LOVE this product! Our child shows great interest in eating while eating. He has a habit of putting an entire spoon in his mouth and choking on it, so we checked that out. These spoons are perfect for him to grasp and train hand-eye coordination. They are also good because the protective cover between the spoon and the handle prevents our boy from choking on the whole spoon. In just 6 months, it really helped improve self-feeding!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Irregular

Good but still stifling

We bought these spoons hoping they would be big enough that our 5 month old couldn't put a spoon in her mouth. She did this by holding the spoon incorrectly and putting the whole handle in her mouth. Using these spoons definitely requires a lot of control. Another disadvantage is that because of their flat shape and small "cork" part, it's difficult to control the amount of food on the spoon. On a positive note, our baby likes to use them as a teether.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Useless features

Perfect for little hands and avoid gags!

My baby finally started solid food this week and he is doing so well with these spoons! He'll be 5 months next week so he's still working on his hand eye coordination but it's great for the first feeding phase. Spoons are perfect for his small hands because they are short. Also, the part of the spoon that helps him not to shove it too far down his throat is the super grip. I only discovered these spoons with this baby (it's my 4th) and would seriously recommend to my mommy and daddy friends!

Pros
  • Baby Products
Cons
  • Expensive

These are very cute and I thought they would be great for my 6 month old to learn how to use utensils. When they arrived I was shocked at how short they were. The pen fits easily in my child's palm without leaving extra space. This, combined with the bulkiness of the handle, makes it very uncomfortable to hold and the child cannot handle it at all. He's great with Munchkin spoons and doesn't miss his mouth as much as he does with these. In the end, he just glues them to the sides. The bite/gas…
