The design looks pretty cool and the idea is just what you might need. It works great at night, but the glossy screen is highly reflective during the day. This definitely works for cars with no windows or in always overcast climates.

Compared to all the useless Cr@p (I returned 3 others). This one is better and cheaper. My photos are picky. Update: Now that I haven't installed it, I'm even happier than when I tested it. Great product for the price. WAY outperforms 3 others I've tried. 2nd update: I'm so glad I bought this camera. That's why I chose the wired solution because it has higher resolution and is always better and more reliable than wireless. I took my time, took the panels off for about two hours to hide the wiring. It could be great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because you can't flip or flip an image vertically. It is only mirrored horizontally. This limits the installation options for the camera. Since this is a simple firmware issue, we hope the manufacturer fixes it!

I am installing this camera on a 2011 Honda Odyssey. So I connect that to my taillight as well. So there are two options. Option 1: My camera is active all the time when the vehicle is on and moving forward or backward. Option 2: If I turn off the screen, the camera only turns on when I put the car in reverse. The only downside I see is when I use option 2 and put reverse gear the screen stays on for a VERY SHORT amount of time so when reversing the car the screen goes blank within ten seconds.

I like the wide screen and field of view of the camera. The mounting bracket for the camera did not allow the camera to be pointed up/down a sufficient distance. It was too close to where the cable came out of the back of the camera and when you try to rotate the camera in one direction it worked fine. Looks good. The screen that had to be attached at the top left a lot of bubbles, so I didn't use it. I think it helps with highlights. The image is not mirrored. I had to mount the camera on the bumper so that the image was upside down. That turned out to be a good thing, as the power cord doesn't fit into the bracket that holds the screen. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to run wires neatly across a truck (you can't see people putting them on cars). This is a good kit that offers multiple mounting options such as: B.
