I bought this item for my 5 year old granddaughter who is interested in dinosaurs and bone digging. When she opened the package and realized what it was, she was overjoyed! She liked it more than any other more expensive gift I've bought her.

I bought this to wear stockings for my 5 and 6 year old grandson. They arrived today, for the price I'm very disappointed with the quality, I didn't expect very high quality but better than this. We have a place in the mountains, the boys love to dig and collect bugs, I hope they can use some of it.

I bought them for each of my grandchildren. I hung them on small daypacks, took them on hikes and campsites. They became a hit! Each tool offers endless hours of fun. They dug in the dirt, used the whistle to keep in touch and tried to dig everything up. We took a tour of the cave and all the other kids wanted it.

My 5 year old son got this for Christmas. He loves to. All instruments are very beautiful. The whistle doesn't work very well (a big plus in my book). My kids had fun using them for various things around the house (digging for dinosaur bones, just playing explorer, etc.). Nice set, appears to be very well made. Lots of space for creative play.

This item was given to my 8 year old son for Christmas. It fell apart 5 minutes after opening the package. Very disappointed with this product. When he tried to remove the harness/tool from the hook, the hook broke and broke into 3 pieces! It is plastic, very brittle and inflexible. The items on the hook are the same. It is unsafe for children to play with as the ends of the tools break off easily.

Great idea but my 4 and 5 year old lost parts in a few days. The carabiner is not strong enough to withstand the constant opening and closing, so it will wear out and items will fall off one by one. Most of the parts survived my children's use, but the magnetic stick broke after a few months. Really amazing concept, just wish my kids could make better use of it.

At first, my child really liked this gift. It has several disadvantages: plastic, the brush is not rigid, it is very easy to lose it, the pipe has no rim. They are easy to lose because they blend in with the backyard grass. You can overcome this by putting yellow tape on each piece. Overall, my kid loved it and carried it on a belt loop for a few backyard adventures. It just didn't help him get much done and ultimately never became a regular part of his backyard research.
