Baffin ICE Castle YTH Boys' Shoes in Outdoor Review

This is a good one-piece shoe. Warm and waterproof. However, as mentioned in some other reviews, heels wear out fairly quickly. They seem to be worn out by the end of next season.

As long as you order 2 sizes larger for a toddler (since there is an insole (+1) and the children's feet are growing (+1)), the small winter boot is great and perfect. When spring arrives, your child can take out the insole and wear it like a rubber boot (since their feet have grown). Two for the price of one.

I really liked these boots but for my 3 year old the narrow ankle made them quite difficult to put on. Not a fun experience for all of us. Maybe good for an older child

My son wears a size 11 but we ordered a size 12. My sons seem happy with the boots. They seem warm enough and waterproof. No complaints. Seems to be good value for money so far.

My boy's feet fit in the boot itself, but the liner is very tight. My boys wear no legs at all. Who are these legs for? Laugh out loud

I bought size 7 for my son as he wears size 6 shoes and they are too small. I literally can't even get my foot in as the inside of the boot isn't wide enough to fit the foot. Disappointed. size up

We bought these boots for our 3 year old. They are so easy to put on that he can do it himself and the grip on the ice is much better than his previous shoes. They're totally waterproof, ideal for muddy days and puddle jumping, while the lining keeps your feet warm.

My daughter is a size 7 and is clearly high waisted as most people have said. About size 9 and it worked fine. They didn't fit my son, couldn't even put him in the trunk. My husband wears this brand and I can't say we've ever had any sizing issues. . It's sad because they're really smooth and warm.

I love baffin boots. I have two pairs for myself so I bought these for my son. Not disappointed, same high quality as my boot. The only thing I found is that my son usually has 10s but they were a bit tight so he got 11s.

Looked good but not comfortable. With padding, my daughter's feet won't fit in without. It's too big and rough. serves no purpose.

The trunk lining is so small. I drove both kids and they were little. I even tried my youngest child in a larger size (4 sixes is too big) and the liner was still too small. I sent them both back. It would be great as a rubber boot without inner lining, but not what I was looking for.

The boots are ridiculously tight compared to other boots/shoes of the same size. Child size 8, that's what I bought. My son fits easily into any other size 8 boot, but this liner doesn't even come close to fitting a child's foot.

Keeps my little ones feet warm and dry with no problem. Still in mint condition after intensive use for a season and will be passed on to another child. No complaints here. Very happy with them.

Great idea, bad result. My daughter can put her foot in both the earbud and the trunk. But putting a balaclava in the trunk ... is useless. I'm really not sure why they made this boot so thin. Have returned this item

Fully waterproof and warm boots. My children live on a farm and keep their feet warm all winter while they play and help around the house. They're lightweight and kids never complain that they're uncomfortable. Highly recommended.

Bought late November this year and the heels are already worn because it's cold here in Canada it's too cold for kids to play outside in shoes so I thought these boots would be great, the heels are always almost completely worn , now more need to buy a pair of shoes is not happy

My rating is based solely on the size. I got two and a half sizes bigger. My granddaughter couldn't even get her foot in and she has a small, narrow foot.

This is probably the best product made in Canada. Comfortable, warm, waterproof up to the shaft, light and flexible. In addition, the material (rubber) has absolutely no unpleasant smell. I highly recommend it.

I have two pairs for preschoolers and so far they are fantastic. They keep their feet warm, attend an all-weather forest school, and so far have had no problems jumping in puddles and on snowy days! They dress well to hold out the elements and the lining is nice and thick. These are really nice looking sturdy boots, definitely a good investment.

My child has been wearing these boots one size smaller for a year. Balaclavas kept her warm through the snow and ice in the forest school in winter, and she wore them like rubber boots in the spring and summer. I have now bought these boots in the next size up (infant 2 or EU 33) and I think I will be just as happy with them. The earbuds are very narrow, which fits my child very well, but not for every child.
