Love it! - Incense sticks and incense holder

I burn a lot of incense every day. I was looking for a new incense that wasn't "too" expensive since I burn so much. It exceeded my expectations. The husband is an incense snob. and he passed his exam, we both like that.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

The best incense! in Home Decor Products

A friend from Japan gave me a large box a few years ago - I've searched the internet to no avail and thought I must order from Japan . Surprise! Revane wears it. It's mild (not overwhelming like many) and sweetly flavored. I'm so glad I found a permanent source!

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • I have no dislikes, everything is fine

Fantastically soft fragrance

Honestly, I can't describe this fragrance otherwise than wonderfully soft. I love it. I also love the boxes that these incense sticks come in. Stylish and compact, not just a plastic bag. Of course you'll end up with a few broken sticks, but I usually break mine in half and burn a few at a time anyway, so it works lol.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Compatibility

Baieido Kobunboku Incense Sticks

Baieido Kobunboku Incense Sticks: This incense stick is intended for use in temples, so it is a bit strong for use in small spaces. The Bikou Kobunboku (green lidded box) incense is softer and more suitable for the home, but I had to buy it elsewhere to avoid waiting a month for it to arrive from Japan. Both are high quality Japanese incense sticks.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Clarity

Wonderful incense. on incense sticks and incense holder

This is a very nice incense stick with layers of scent. The box smells of sandalwood and other scents, but the camphor really wins. When lit, however, the camphor scent softens and simply complements the warm, pleasant scent of sandalwood and cinnamon. Before buying, people recommended trying the byakudan first, but I'm glad I started this one. But I will definitely try other varieties!

Pros
  • Stock item
Cons
  • Only available in white

Easily one of my favorites for meditation!

I've recently become obsessed with Japanese incense. And when I say obsessed, I mean I've spent about $700 in a few months. I have about 40 different types and brands. Kobunboku is the perfect meditation incense, this fantastic blend of various gentle spices and ingredients really shines. I swear every time I meditate with him I take it to the next level. It's like filling a car instead of normal premium petrol. If you think it doesn't matter, don't buy this incense stick.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Requires socket

Unique scent, very food/ramen smell to me but custom

I spend $100 on incense sticks, more like 3-5 hundred a year. However, I have tried as many Japanese incense sticks as I could get my hands on and this is a UNIQUE scent, unlike any other I have tried and definitely not for me. I put it in my stash of outdoor and garden sticks. It smells too much food for me, like the smell hitting you in a Tokyo ramen restaurant makes me hungry. This is not the scent I need in my home. At both ends of the spectrum, I rely on Hinoki by Nippon Kodo for an inner,

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Various Noses: Home Accessories

This is an adorable incense stick. It seems that the chemical receptors in our noses are actually different. I've read quite a few reviews of this incense so far (here and elsewhere) and many people describe it as delicate, gentle, even sweet. . . And another person who lives in my house seems to experience it that way. He says it's one of the thinnest incense sticks in our collection, and sometimes says he doesn't feel a thing when it's burning. He describes what he feels as ordinary…

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Sad packaging
