Thick and supportive

Nothing to say. These are shorts. These are good shorts. - Good thick fabric with good elasticity. - Fixed belt at waist. It slides down easily. - Support where you need it. Things will stay in place. Practical pockets. I'm pretty picky when it comes to spandex. These shorts are every bit as good as some of my high end cycling shorts, minus the chamois. As soon as the black one is in stock I will order two more.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great for trail running and hiking!

During the hot summer months, I like to go for long hikes and runs in spandex shorts, but most shorts don't have enough pockets for my phone. But they are, and they were very affordable. They fit snugly and we are very true to size. They are comfortable and the compression is amazing. But my concerns are more just suggestions that put modesty in the foreground and suggest more colors. I will probably order more pairs.

Comfortable and opaque, with great pockets. Water does not separate them.

I liked it so much I bought a second pair. They fit perfectly - tight and flexible, no binding. The pockets are actually usable and end up being a good place to store my phone (when dry) and wallet. I use it as a base layer when I need to change power quickly, and I also use it under the board. shorts on the beach. They handle both situations well without going see-through when I lean over!

  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers

Comfortable, practical but large

I've been wearing these shorts every day for over a month now. I wear them on my morning walks, bike rides, going home, to and from the pool, downhill diving, etc. These are great shorts but they are quite large. I usually wear medium to large compression shorts (I'm 6ft 2ft 194lbs), but if you want a real compression feel with them, go two sizes smaller than usual. (The photo with blue is the medium size and the photo with gray is the small size.)

Good running shorts but too big

I really like the quality of these shorts and have run in them a few times, both off-road and on-road. They are supportive, slightly compressive and I love the density of the fabric. I've bought from many other more expensive brands like 2XU, Nike, Brooks and Under Armor and have found that in some cases they are in the same league for about 1/4 the price! The only downside I've found so far is that they definitely stretch a lot. At 5'9" and 32" waist I usually wear medium, but here they were…

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models

They are great but smaller

First of all these shorts are awesome. Nylon based fabric looks durable and has no "transparent" properties. When I say downsize, consider downsizing by two. With expensive running brands, I'm sometimes a medium. I always choose small for Amazon seller sizes. A small size would have been fine here, but I brought it back to XS because I wanted a very compressive fit. I bought them for training and racing - they have not one, but two (!) key pouches and plenty of fuel. 5 stars if they came with a

Good alternative to cycling shorts (without pad)

Cycling shorts can no longer be bought without pads. I don't like both the look and feel of fluffy shorts. So I got this instead. I ordered a size larger than usual and am happy with the size. The shorts are a bit shorter than my cycling shorts, but that's an advantage in 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The material is a bit slick/shiny but they seem to breathe, just like my other cycling shorts. The support they provide is spot on without being annoying. Also, they don't have the typical ribbing on…

Training shorts, yes. COMPRESSION? No!

Being skeptical about online sizing I always read reviews and check other sites selling the same product. In this case, the reviewers seemed pretty firm on the "order your true size" stance. I tried them on last night when they arrived in the mail and upon a quick inspection they were fine. I've decided to wear them home tonight after work while I color my hair. THIS IS NOT COMPRESSION. Lycra sports shorts, of course. But these shorts don't give muscle compression. In fact, they sit pretty…
