Order bigger!

I'm 4'11" and 106 lbs. The small size according to the chart should work, but they were SO HEAVY. I knew before the trip there would be problems, so I added 2" 2" elastics on each leg. It certainly didn't help the waist and inseam. The whole trip was a step grab. The reason for the 2 stars is good stock and the product is well made. I... just can't see who fits in a small one!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Some nuances

Runs small, good for outdoor activities

I love the padding, color choice and price of the Baleaf bike shorts and capris, but these shorts run very small. I think you could easily pick a size or two from those recommended in the size chart. I was between medium and large according to the size chart, so I bought medium. It was very comfortable so I bought the large as well and the large didn't feel much larger than the average. It was still snug, but I can still use both.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons

Good shorts for the price

I have another pair of this brand, in some respects they are better, in some respects worse. Padding has increased but is still uncomfortable after 10 miles. The padding is also wider so it's a bit uncomfortable when walking but works well on the bike. This pair has a tight waistband, while my last pair had a wide waistband with a tight hemline. I prefer a wide waistband with no elastic at the top because it cuts into my waist.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Functionality

Good price for outerwear

This is my third Baleaf cycling shorts, various styles. They have more padding - I think it's 4D - but I don't notice much of a difference when riding. My usual rides are 15-30 miles. The stripes at the bottom of the legs are a bit tighter than my other shorts but they may stretch out a bit over time as they have on other pairs. However, this is currently not impractical. The fit is true to size. I ordered my normal size Small and it was the right choice.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Incredible price

LOVE 4D upholstery!

I have some Baleaf 3D pads that I love! I only bought them because I was looking for blue shorts (LOVE THE COLOR). I didn't even pay attention to the spacer (4d). And then I drove in it! OH MY! Sooo comfortable. I just bought the 2nd pair. The material is nice and thick - doesn't tear! :) Oh, FYI - I ride a bike, yes! but maybe you want to know my mileage! I usually ride 3-4 times a week and longer (60 miles) on weekends. The shorts worked great for long miles! :)

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons

great shorts! suitable for women

I bought 3/4 leggings from this brand and I liked them so much that I also bought shorts. I love her too! I haven't worn them for a very long time (3 months) so I can't comment on how they hold up over time, but so far I'm happy. I wear small for most leggings (Nike, Gymshark) and medium for activewear. from Forever 21. I'm a size 6 in jeans. I ordered medium in 3/4 length and large in shorts. both sizes will work. If you like it thicker and don't mind a small cupcake, take a medium one, if you

Do not order a size larger

Great shorts and they are comfortable. Contrary to all reports urging you to order a size larger than you normally buy, you may not have to. I always go down a size in sportswear, but I bought a medium size because everyone said it was necessary. They are too big for me and I wish I had ordered small ones. I doubt they will allow me to return them because I wore them for a trip to see if I could get used to them. If you're consistently small with other brands, I'd recommend just trying the…

Comfortable but tight if you have big hips

I bought these for trishaw rides and the padding is very useful for my work. All friction and pockets hold just right. HOWEVER if you have big hips be careful they can compress. Even if you have a waist measurement I find they are a bit small in the legs I would go up a size. , according to the table it should be my size, but my legs were unbearably cramped. In the photo I'm wearing size XL and my feet feel better, still a bit cramped but at least it doesn't hurt. These shorts are essentially…
