Great shorts for the price

I'm 5ft 5" and about 120lbs. I have been riding road bikes for a number of years and have been very surprised at how good and affordable they are. I paid significantly more for another pair. The inner lining is of good quality and protects well. In another review someone mentioned the fitted hem of the shorts. They have an elastic band so they don't slip on your foot when cycling so you can feel the rubber. But I didn't feel like they were uncomfortable. I liked that they stayed in place for…

Good value for tights, pants and shorts

I ride mountain bikes, road bikes and peloton bikes. I bought these for the indoor peloton as I wanted to keep my "nice" shorts for outdoor riding. They arrived within 3 days and when I opened them I saw that they would be too large (medium). I tried them on and decided to keep them although they fall short compared to my other riding gear which really needs to be quite snug to prevent chafing. They were surprisingly comfortable and I might even consider ordering a small one to try on my…

the style didn't fit and the material is hot

I'm heavy and form-fitting but still have a waist and the butt is made for flat-bottomed girls. My back didn't elevate enough, especially when leaning on the bike. They don't run too small, if I went up a size they would be too big. Also, I live in Houston, and it's hot and muggy most of the year—that stuff is so sticky, hot. It was maybe 80 degrees and 80% humidity and he wasn't breathing - I felt like I was on a plastic garbage bag. In winter they fit here under longer trousers. I don't know…

Good cycling shorts priced at

After my initial check, Baleaf offered to send me a new pair of shorts on the grounds that the original shorts may be defective. I've ridden the new pair a few times so far and they are definitely way better than the first pair I got. The padding feels firm enough to provide reasonable comfort and is placed much more sensibly (centered under my seat while I'm driving). The fit is true to size and the material feels like the shorts will be at least moderately durable. For the price I'm…

Buy at a bike shop

Benefits: Lower legs stay in place thanks to handles. true size. stylish. SPF fabric. Good length Cons: no pockets. Seriously, why isn't there a pocket on the back or on the leg? CONS: The gel pad is terrible and doesn't work. First off, pulling off these shorts requires acrobatics. Luckily, I'm quite capable of that. Keep in mind that the standard butt pull will not work. You should start adjusting the pillow early in the pull-up and have your legs wide apart and your knees bent. Once the…

Lining fit was odd/uncomfortable. The rest seemed excellent.

The padding was in the wrong shape/position. The front padding was too wide and too long (or too far forward). It was so wide that it cut into my legs and/or the creases in my legs. It was so long that it protruded past the lower abdomen. By protruding I mean that it wasn't in the direction of the fabric or body, but protruded vertically. Like an erect male body part. Very odd and clumsy looking. The waist is perfect for the small size I always wear in clothes and cycling shorts. But while it…
