Cans are great, but not $20 a pop. Excellent

banks are great. Easy to hand clean, tall and thin so it can be easily stored in the fridge without taking up much space, it works like a drinking glass, fits in a cup holder, it can be placed on top of my blender. I'm swapping out the lids for BPA-free plastic lids. What I don't like about what's going on with these banks right now is the scammers they're selling during the pandemic. I thought I would order a suitcase for $35 which is ridiculous. Firstly the order for 2 glasses was from $38…

Cracked within a week with light to moderate use

I was very pleased with these jars as they were just the size I needed. However, after less than a week of use, one of them developed spider-like cracks. Nothing like this existed before. I didn't even can those cans or anything like that. I only used them to store liquids. I can't imagine how the glass has cracked already, but that's totally unacceptable. I've been using Ball cans for many years and have never heard of or seen it. So I'm wondering if they're real. I think I'll be adding…

Pro tip: Not microwave safe

Dishwasher safe, of course not microwave safe. No problem with the packaging or the condition of the glasses when they arrived. I enjoy heating up soup for a quick meal and this has been about the 5th or 6th time I've used the jar for this purpose. Two minutes at the top is enough. Only this time I noticed a leak (photo 1). When I pulled the glass out of my sleeve (luckily over the sink) the whole bottom had broken off (photo 2). It may be common knowledge that mason jars are not microwave…
