I was very pleased with these jars as they were just the size I needed. However, after less than a week of use, one of them developed spider-like cracks. Nothing like this existed before. I didn't even can those cans or anything like that. I only used them to store liquids. I can't imagine how the glass has cracked already, but that's totally unacceptable. Dishwasher safe, of course not microwave safe. No problem with the packaging or the condition of the glasses when they arrived. I enjoy heating up soup for a quick meal and this has been about the 5th or 6th time I've used the jar for this purpose. Two minutes at the top is enough. Only this time I noticed a leak (photo 1).
