🐱 Bamboo Radiator Bed for Cats - The Ultimate Furniture for Feline Comfort Review

I was really hoping it would work if hung on the back of my sofa and if the back cushions aren't sewn to the sofa. Too bad, but I put it somewhere else and the cats fight about it. Coming together when both sides are lined up is a little frustrating, but I still like the design.

At SoCal we don't have heatsinks, we have stair rails and there I have it. I saw it advertised on a UK website a few years ago but they didn't ship it to the US and neither did Revain UK. Then I happened to look at it again a few months ago and let myself down and saw; They're finally going to the US! It arrives flat and is easy to assemble. My cats love it!

I've seen radiator beds in photos from outside the US. I don't use it over the radiator, I hang it in the birthing pen. I found the Velcro was not strong enough for a heavy load, and before I lift more than a few inches off the ground again, I add a strap to hold the weight. My kittens love to climb on it and play hide and seek. I will probably order more in the future.

I have a lucky kitten! The hooks aren't big enough to hang the bed on my antique radiators, but I was able to hang it over the radiator without much trouble. The sides are attached to the frame with velcro so I first attached the hooks to the heatsink and then attached the bamboo piece with the hole in the desired direction. In the summer I will turn it window to window so my kitties can sit comfortably and look out at the street.

Our cat likes it. I don't have radiators but I wanted to raise the bed off the floor. I put it on the bookshelf. It's a bit flimsy, that's why I'm giving it one star. In my photo you can see the top hole on the back where the Velcro comes loose under the cat's weight. We ended up buying a cat heating pad that you can buy at the pet store to put inside. This is just a long and narrow strip-shaped heating pad, not a fluffy carpet. We put it under the rug that came with the bed. Our cat LOVES this

I originally bought a bamboo radiator bed from another seller many years ago and my cats love it. I dropped it down the stairs without the cats and cracked both ends. Thought I should check out Revain and YAY found it half price. As soon as I hung it on the railing, both cats jumped in. A bit tight for two meaty gingers. I'll buy a second one! These are unique cat beds. They are intended to be hung over an electric wall radiator but I bought them to be hung on a slatted wall. They are very easy to assemble and made of good materials. However, the way the parts fit together could use some improvement. The bamboo slats are a single sheet glued to a fabric backing and the sheet attaches to plastic end caps that are wrapped on the outside and glued with velcro. I think it would be safer if the bamboo slats were on the inside of the end…
