I've been riding this board for about 2 months and I love it. It's no better than your standard maple 7-ply skating, but it's no worse either. It looks like the standard wood you are used to. The main difference is durability. Before riding this maple board deck I had enough for 1-3 weeks. I ride mostly on low impact outdoor trails. The nose and tail seemed to hold their shape longer.
