Waterproof looks good. Rack top hooks are not suitable for every rack. Before making a decision, be careful and measure well. The way the bag sits on my rack (Trek) was suboptimal and it would have been more difficult to tighten from the bottom (back) as it aligns with my rack tubes. The loop was 1.5-2 inches smaller.
