Okay so very little info but I have answers, the first 220v in Europe produces true 220v AC at 50Hz Hz to get. So on this meter you can use L1 or Load 1, let's say your black wire or a side load wire is 120VAC and the L2 wire is labeled L2/N meaning Load 2 could be your white or red wire for example could, the other is 120VAC. side of the 220 VAC switch. Judging by the reviews this unit will work fine over time. I gave one star for lack of documentation. About the Wire Size: Reviews say it doesn't fit larger wires. Not true. It is suitable for wire gauges that significantly exceed the meter's current rating. Another nice feature is the presence of two standoffs that fit inside the block for smaller wires like 14 AWG.
