Worked great.

Although decent quality, it has a closer and an opener inside so you can set it up however you like. I've used it to energize (turn on) a 3-pin 230V AC contactor (locally $45) when the button is pressed. This setup cuts power to my 3 phase machine when the button is pressed.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I'll add it later

Nice stop switch

It seems well made and works well. If a person plans to connect a cable with no electrical entry, I would recommend drilling a hole at the bottom of the device rather than in the middle of the input loop. This would leave some room for the wire inside the case to open the switch when reassembling.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Great IoT button

Ideal button for a small IoT project. Has two "trips": normally connected/closed (NC) and normally open (NO), and both sides of the switch (NO or NC) can be unscrewed and removed to free up more space in the cable/component housing (in my case, a small ESP8266 board). Only two downsides: The button requires a push but more force than I expected. One of the case screws on the one I received will not thread the nut properly and therefore cannot be hermetically sealed. Not a problem for me, but…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
