Received 2 switches from Baomain (different orders). The box had the correct part number, the switch had the correct number on the label; but it was applied to the WRONG switch. there should have been 3 positions (1-2-3), but there were switches (only 1-2). I called Amazon to warn them of the problem. It is obvious that the manufacturer mislabeled the switches. my advice. Wait a month for the "fake" switches to wipe the system. I bought this rotary cam switch for a specific prototype project. The description of some of these devices left me unsure of some details. This article seemed to provide all the details that bothered me, including the schematic pin diagram. In position "0" all contacts are open. Each of the other positions CLOSEs another pair of contacts. A NOTICE. The dimensions given are incorrect. Must be: HxWxD = 2.6"x2.6"x4" (installation depth = 2.8")

Looks good, works great and makes a big "click" when switching between all positions. No instructions, but with a multimeter set for continuity, it was easy to find the clamps/scale positions. This switch provided a simple solution to my two welder problem, but my garage junction box only had enough room for one 220v line. Since mine had a 220v line going to the switch (must jumper on each "line" attach connector), I've run two separate 220v lines from there to the 50A sockets for each welder…
