I bought this rotary cam switch for a specific prototype project. The description of some of these devices left me unsure of some details. This article seemed to provide all the details that bothered me, including the schematic pin diagram. In position "0" all contacts are open. Each of the other positions CLOSEs another pair of contacts. A NOTICE. The dimensions given are incorrect. Must be: HxWxD = 2.6"x2.6"x4" (installation depth = 2.8")
