Pet Vehicle Barrier with 6 Tubular Bars Review

Item arrived quickly/early (thanks FEDEX!). When opening the box to inventory and inspect the parts, one of the plastic horizontal pipe brackets cracked (the plastic looks brittle). You must file a warranty claim with the manufacturer to obtain a replacement bracket/part. A cursory glance at the warranty claim instructions and it looks like jumping through a few hoops is going to be a painful process.

After trying a few other pet barriers I ordered this one. I have a 2011 Chevrolet Suburban and the others I ordered didn't fit this car. That works great. It looks beautiful, blends in with the space and does what it's supposed to do. Read the instructions! There are notches on the screws, and there is a special hole for them on the mounting bracket. Installation and assembly takes about 15 minutes. My 90 lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever stays where it should be. Don't sit in leather seats.

Installation was easier than the instructions said. They were incomprehensible and just plain annoying. Use your common sense here and you'll be done in no time. However, the company didn't include two boots in it. I installed it temporarily without them (which was pretty unstable) and called them. Shipped in a few days. In general, the product is decent, but not without problems. It's quite tight in the car it's used in and still gives at times. I would recommend doing a little more research…

Great product for the price. I have two large dogs and this barrier is just what I needed. It keeps the dogs in the back of my car and away from the center console. Mainly professionals with this product. The only downside is that the bottom adjustable feet kept falling off when I tried to reattach the barrier and the rubber feet also fell off. But when I put it back in, everything was fine. Otherwise it was easy to assemble and very durable. The rear-view mirror doesn't bother you either…

I have a Honda Element and I bought this item because we are moving in 2 hours and we were waiting for something to keep the dogs in the back seat. Installation was a little difficult, like IKEA furniture installation, but once installed it was very solid. It was delivered completely disassembled, which is perfectly fine.
