I had trouble fitting the can into the bed of the truck but after watching a few videos on You Tube I realized I could do it. I don't know what I've been waiting for? So easy. I was able to install it in 45 minutes, including cutting a hole, installing a spare tire and running wires. Without this part it would have taken 5 minutes! So easy and perfectly made.

Out of the box, one of the pins doesn't even fit in the connector! The locking tongue provided for this purpose does not snap into place. Concerned about safety as the trailer wiring harness relies on this connection. So tired of imported crap, expected better quality at twice the price of other brands available. I guess I'll buy OEM belts at an even higher price to prevent this nonsense from those aftermarket suppliers.

I installed this on my 2017 SuperDuty pickup. The install page says it fits the F150 but not the SuperDuty, which I realized after ordering. So when it got here, I took the original trailer connector (which I removed to install the trailer's remote backup camera connector) and plugged it in with no problems. As others have noted, the shorter plug (the one that goes through first) is wider than 2 inches. I used the sanding attachment in my Dremel tool to enlarge the 2" hole at 3 and 9 o'clock. Hour. The on site installer warned this would not work on my truck. Another buyer said he would. The plugs looked right so I gave it a try. The plugs fit perfectly. I used a 2-1/8" hole saw because I've seen comments from other installers about plugs not going through a 2" hole (as the instructions state). They easily walked into a big hole for me.
