My dog weighs 50 pounds and sometimes needs a hug in the middle of traffic trying to climb into the front seat. The metal ring that connects the fabric around the headrest to the leash that connects to the dog's harness came loose after a week and became unusable. I can't imagine it would hold up too well in a real car crash if it couldn't take a bit of tension.

My dog is only 9 pounds and I was hoping it would work and help keep him in the 'car seat', but part of the line was too long for it. I should have known from the measurements and photos provided that this wouldn't work, but I was desperate. The product was really well made and if I had a 60-100 lb dog to sit on the main seat that would be great!

Broke on my first long trip! I've used it a few times to take my dog to the dog park but this time I drove for hours wondering why my dog almost got in the front seat. And you have your hands free! I took them to a baseball game and didn't have to worry about leaving them on all the time.

Perfect fit for my back seat headrest. Adjusts a few inches shorter or longer as needed. The material is durable, as is the metal clasp that attaches to the collar. I use an extra harness in my golf cart as my miniature poodle loves to ride the golf cart. This product is suitable for a much larger and stronger dog as it is heavy. I'm happy with this product, but I really didn't need one that heavy for my 13 pound poodle.
