💾 Enhance Your Dell XPS 13 with BASEQI Aluminum microSD Adapter Review

I bought this microSD adapter for my XPS 13. It doesn't work. I have tested the SD card with other adapters and they work fine. I wasn't in town so I missed the return window. The device was DOA. Tries to contact BaseQi. No reply received. Edit: The company contacted me after this review and sent me a replacement. The replacement works fine. A very practical product.

This item fits my XPS 13 perfectly. Fits on the edge of the computer and is almost invisible. The micro SD card disappears into the computer and works perfectly.

I've been using this adapter with my other laptops for over two years and it works great. I recently bought this adapter for my new Dell XPS 15 9500 and have been using it for about 3 weeks with no problems. This adapter added a 512GB copy (SAMSUNG EVO Select microSDXC UHS-I U3) to the laptop. The adapter fits my Dell Xps 15 9500 laptop perfectly.

I used this to insert a microSD card into a cheap Dell laptop. This allowed me to insert the card flush with the side of the laptop. Works as it should. The quality seems very high.

Good - this is a beautifully crafted part, quite overkill for the laptop it will connect to.
