Brushed Nickel Bathroom Ceramic Sink with Brass Overflow Cap Review

The basin comes with a shiny silver overflow cover, the rest of the fittings are black. On a whim I googled one in black and it came up. It arrived the next day, turned up immediately and it makes a difference!

Much better than those simple drain rings. They not only harmonize better with the disguise, but also look much more stylish. I just wish there was a little more tension in the "finger" when it was in place so that part had even less play in the hole.

The quality of this product exceeded my expectations. I bought it to match my new home's spill cap and oiled bronze finish. The lid is perfect for overflowing the sink and so far the quality is really good. The time will show.

The sink I bought had a silver overflow plug. Glad I found the right one in Revain after looking at Lowe's and Home Depot for In only in plastic silver. This one is hard. A little small for the hole, but measured the same size. We just wrapped the back with tape and it's perfect.

I received one with a broken tab so be sure to check it on arrival. They are much prettier than the standard open hole chrome rings that my builder installed so I am happy with my purchase. They are also real metal, not metal coated plastic (except for the petals which are white plastic as shown). However, they are somewhat inconsistent. While some of them fit snugly in the overflow holes, some were loose. I ended up using just a drop of sealant to keep them in place. If they were all the same…

I only ordered one so can't comment on the sizing consistency. but the one I received doesn't fit my sink overflow right out of the box. After 9 turns of thick tape, it fits the hole snugly. There is an inner round white plastic element that attaches to the sink hole and its tabs. has an inner diameter of approx. 18 mm and an outer diameter of 22 mm.
