I had one of these on a 48 volt golf cart that I bought for $135. 2 years ago. This year they checked my batteries and they are very weak and the charge doesn't last long. Therefore, claims about this device are not true. Save money and don't buy. A lot of money for a product that doesn't work. Dissatisfied customer.

I bought this jump to upgrade my golf cart batteries. All the reviews and website recommendations lead me to believe that this will improve my batteries. It did not get better. Over the course of two rides, my batteries went from manageable to decan in under three miles, or 30 minutes max. Very disappointed but I had my doubts from the start. This was a product that was too good to be true.

I think I'll let you know if it works in four years or more. because there is no way to tell if there will be any benefit from installing it on new or young batteries. Also, if you have it installed on a cart, note that it only activates when the charger is connected. The red operating indicator on the desulfator only lights up during the charging process. I installed this unit with ease and within a few charge/discharge cycles I noticed an improvement in the performance of the golf cart batteries (longer run time before the required charge).
