Bright White NOT Warm White

This is really great and at a great price. I like that they are on timers. I have used them in Christmas window lanterns. The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 is because the light was NOT warm white as shown in the picture. They were bright white, so they didn't go with the rest of my decor. I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, since I didn't have much time for my event, I didn't have time to return it. :(

Short-Term Success: Seasonal Lighting

Price is right, but these tiny bulbs eat batteries! They're good when you need short-term flair. But I have a third set of batteries for the Christmas season. I use them with a timer so the light stays on for five hours a day. I have a string from another source that I left on full time for about a month and the batteries never ran out. I think something is wrong with the engineers of these kits. The batteries are designed for 10 days, so 50 hours.

The timer mode is not constantly lit, just blinking

Bright white light. I bought these on purpose because they had a timer as I wanted to use mercury glass balls and didn't have to fiddle with turning them on and off. But nowhere does it say that the timer mode works only in firmware mode. If you need a steady light, you have to turn it off and on manually. Blink mode wouldn't be so bad if it just used blink mode, but it alternates between blinking, blinking, and something like a quick flash. This is not at all what I want for a peaceful…

Timer doesn't stay on

That's it. They work great. These are five separate packages. There's one that stays lit until you physically turn it off at the battery pack. Gone, that is, well - gone. And supposedly a timer in the middle. BUT, it's very annoying as it has 8 modes it cycles through - flicker, fade, etc. And it's supposedly on for 6, off for 18. So if you buy these to attach to a wreath or small Christmas tree, they will work just fine, but you will have to physically turn them on and off if you don't want…

I prefer non-led 7 watt village lights

I use to light up a small Christmas village instead of standard 7 watt white light bulbs. I connected about 4 LED lights with zip ties and attached them to the building. Then they lined up two or three lightbulbs on the neighboring building and tied them back together. The effect of illuminated buildings with ambient lighting between the buildings. One strand made three buildings and then pulled the second over two other buildings. The light isn't as "warm" as regular 7W non-LED bulbs, but…

POP is coming battery box!

I haven't seen anyone with the same issue as us so not sure what to think. We installed Costco Kirkland batteries and the light worked great, we left it on timer mode and the light gradually dimmed each day until it was almost dark, I would say 10 days later. Then one night we were sitting in the living room and we heard the sound of fireworks, it was around the 4th of July so we thought it was fireworks, the next night around the same time we heard it again and the third night around the same…

Disappointing with seasonal lighting

They are nice and bright and I thought I would really like them but when I put them on I had a set that only worked if I didn't close the battery box, so I had to fiddle with it until I could close it and it still worked which was the real trick and the other kit stopped working. Also, I misunderstood the description when it said "Off". / 8 flashes with timer / Steady light: The switch has three positions: Off. left to right and center for timer with 8 lighting modes. I mistakenly assumed that…
