Works better than the standard plastic alligator clips that come with the charger. Stay connected to the battery post where standard plastic clips keep falling off.

They are great but there is a newer version that isolates the metals from each other unless you use clamps but this version works fine. a little flimsy for attaching to car battery terminals.

I have two Battery Tender connectors that use ring lugs, but I need alligator clips for another battery that can't use ring lugs. It's nice to be able to quickly connect and disconnect different battery packs to the charger with these quick connectors.

First, it's not 18 feet long as the misleading information suggests. That's closer to 4 feet from end to end of the alligator clips, which is still a lot longer than the POS that comes with the B&D BM3B charger. Clips are short but work well.

In winter I use Battery Tender Jr to charge motorcycle and car batteries. I used to have to regularly go to the garage and swap alligator clips from one battery to the other, but I figured if there was a way to connect a charger to both batteries, and now there is! Actually the bidding for the battery should INCLUDE or at least let the buyer know that these clips are the most commonly needed. Realizing these alligator clips were for use with a battery tender I ordered them to carry in a solar panel briefcase connect my camper battery. The solar panel comes with the same quick connector. As one of those guys who checks all electrical connections before making any connections, I used a voltmeter to check the polarity of the alligator clips and found that the polarity was the opposite of the solar panel.
