    Great for HP but not for Dell

    This is just a warning. This adapter cable is as advertised for HP (desktop). This allows you to use a standard ATX power supply connection with a minijack on an HP motherboard. How do you say. This connector DOES NOT WORK with Dell OptiPlex desktop computers. The pin connectors for DELL are NOT the standard 24 pin arrangement. .

    Very glad I took the risk, it made sense of the motherboard I was planning to throw away. If I had known this a few years ago I could have saved a lot of people the expense of buying a new computer due to HP's crappy power supplies and the inflated cost of replacing their flimsy models.

    Bought to avoid additional delays in backing up my work computer as some reviews of the PSU we chose said it didn't always come with it and that it was sometimes necessary. Turns out we didn't need it as the 270W Replace Power Flex ATX Power.Replace Power® 270W comes with one. Looks exactly as advertised, arrived earlier than promised. Add it to the box with the cable and spare parts.

    HP Micro-ITX Slimline

    If you've ever seen an HP motherboard with a Mini-ATX power connector, this cable is what you need. The description was dead. There were several well-known stores that told this customer to throw away their year-old computer because they couldn't find the power adapter. Well, they were so wrong. It took me five minutes to find this adapter. thank you guys

    Will not work with 2013/2014 Mini 24pin motherboards. .

    Does not work with 2013/2014 mini 24 pin motherboards. I've bought it for several Dell and Acer motherboards and they don't work with this adapter. However, if you buy a regular mini power adapter with a 24-pin connector, they will work.

    Bought to use an HP motherboard (from this internet auction site) with an ATX power supply. It perfectly meets all requirements. The length is great - not too short and not too long. I received the right product and the delivery didn't take too long. MiniATX male adapter instead of this 20pin to 24pin adapter.

    Best Cheap Solution For HP Slimline With Dead PSU

    Finding a quality replacement PSU perfect for my HP Slimline looked risky. Instead, I put the motherboard and components in a standard computer case that I already had (and liked better). I used this adapter cable to connect a new standard 24 pin ATX power supply to a proprietary Mini 24 on the motherboard. (Works with both 20-pin and 24-pin power supplies.)
