Easy to hide wiring!

A great way to add a splitter for your scanner, tuner or any other OBD-II device! I specifically chose this product because the OEM style locking tabs on the split end are factory locked and I now have the OBD-II port open and my scanning sensor plugged in with hidden wiring under the dash. .It would be great for a Cobb access port!

Pros
  • No logo and plain packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Well-made OBDII splitter.

I have two parts that connect to OBDII via power supply. One is WiFi Hotspot and the other is My Dash Cam. It worked great. I had to tie the cables together to secure them under the dash. Communication is excellent. I had to reset the wifi hotspot. I called Uconnect to check my connection and they said everything was fine. I recommend this if you need to use an OBDII splitter.

Pros
  • 100% brand new and high quality, ultra slim, low profile, easy to carry and use.
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Ideal for hiding OBD2 adapters under the dash

I was looking for a splitter that would fit my Ram 1500's factory dash. With 3G being phased out I was on the verge of losing Uconnect remote functionality. There is an adapter for the obd2 port but it stuck out and was too easy to knock off. So I used that to hide the adapter under the dash and you never know it's there unless you crawl under to see it. All I had to do was squeeze the tabs on the side of the factory connector and pull the fitting out. Insert it into the splitter and plug one…

Pros
  • Use an OBD extension cable to avoid wearing out your diagnostic tool's OBD connector.
Cons
  • Minor Stuff
